Sigma Vienna Insurance Group announces the appointment of Ms. Teuta Zaiti Hoti as Executive Director of its Branch in Kosovo, following the approval of her appointment by the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), in accordance with the applicable legislation and regulatory requirements governing the insurance sector.

With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, including over 20 years in senior management positions, Ms. Hoti brings extensive expertise in management, business development, life and non-life insurance, risk management, product development and sales network management.

This appointment reflects Vienna Insurance Group’s commitment to further strengthening leadership, corporate governance and the long-term development of its operations in Kosovo, while supporting the company’s sustainable growth and the creation of value for clients, partners and the wider community.

Professional Profile

Teuta Zaiti Hoti is an insurance professional with more than 25 years of experience in the industry, including over 20 years in senior management positions. Throughout her career, she has led key functions across life and non-life insurance, product development, risk management, sales networks, bancassurance and health insurance.

She has managed significant organizational transformation and business development processes and has also contributed to the institutional development of the insurance sector in Kosovo.

For more than a decade, Ms. Hoti has contributed to the professional development of the sector as a trainer with the Kosovo Insurance Bureau, delivering training programs for the licensing and professional development of insurance agents and company staff in accordance with the standards of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo.

She holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Informatics from Riinvest University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance. Her academic background also includes studies in Dentistry at the University of Prishtina. In addition, she has completed numerous international training programs across Europe, gaining exposure to contemporary practices and standards within the insurance industry.
